Looking to find a workspace in South East London?

Whether you need a hot desk, a meeting room or a private office for the day, there are plenty of great workspaces in this part of town, which makes it difficult to know which to choose.

So we’ve compiled a list of our favourites to help you narrow them down.

South East London is known for its up-and-coming bar and nightlife scene, as well as having some of the best green spaces in the city — it's easily one of our favourite areas to work in London.

Places like Greenwich, Peckham and Bermondsey all have their own vibrant communities and unique styles that make it an exciting experience to spend time around here.

1. Hotel Elephant

Hotel Elephant
Rather than just being one venue, Hotel Elephant is actually a collection of coworking spaces scattered around the Elephant and Castle area.

A not-for-profit organisation, its aim is to create workspaces that allow creative entrepreneurs and startups to thrive, which we think they’re going a very good job of.

The venue has a back-to-basics flavour which suits the arty crowd here and avoids any unnecessary distractions.

Just a 3-minute walk from Elephant and Castle station (of course!), it’s super convenient to get to, with plenty of bike parking also available if you prefer to get there by bike.

Book a desk at Hotel Elephant through Tally Workspace for 5 tokens for the whole day and that includes unlimited barista drinks from their cafe.

2. Skylight Peckham

Known for their bars and event spaces, Skylight also offers hot desks at their Peckham venue which is a great spot to work from.

With incredible views of the London skyline and a cocktail bar ready and waiting at 5:30 (or before…), what’s not to like?

For just 2 tokens, you get fast WiFi, unlimited tea and coffee as well as a power plug.

Plus, you’re in central Peckham so have loads of food and drink options once you’ve been through the full menu at Skylight

3. Oru Space

Another coworking venue that’s combining profit and purpose is Oru Space.

Based in East Dulwich, there is never a dull moment at Oru Space as they have a brilliant cafe and crammed events schedule alongside their coworking facilities.

This place is so good, you may well find yourself moving to Dulwich so you can come every day.

They have seven different areas to work from, including comfortable lounges, standing desks and quiet areas so there’s always the perfect environment to work from.

They also have subsidised meeting rooms, free phone booths and a kitchen to use.

Not that you’ll be using it once you’ve tasted the delicious Sri Lankan fare coming out of the cafe, though!

You can book Oru Space through Tally Workspace for 6 tokens per day.

4. Badger Badger

Badger Badger is a cracking pub in Deptford that also doubles up as a coworking space.

During the week, you can book a desk here and spend the day in a super cosy boozer surrounded by the SE8 locals.

They have great food, comfy seating and locally roasted coffee, as well as speedy and secure internet.

Then once the working day’s done, you can order a pint, sit back and relax.

Badger Badger has a selection of board games, DJ nights and some epic bao buns from their Japanese-inspired kitchen so you’re not short of fun.

Book through Tally Workspace and a day at Badger Badger cost 2 tokens.
