Size: c. 250 sq.ft of space suitable for 1-1 client consultations
  • Contemporary and premium design
  • 24/7 access

The Background

Lily Arkwright specialises in creating luxury jewellery and engagement rings made from the very best quality lab-grown diamonds, moissanite and coloured gemstones. They believe that choosing to purchase an ethically made piece of jewellery, shouldn’t mean you have to compromise on the final quality and finish. Being an online retailer, having showrooms that clients can visit in person for a bespoke consultation is extremely important. After the enormous success of their Manchester showroom, the team decided it was time to open their first space in London due to their growing client base in the South of England.

After starting their search, they soon found the process time-consuming and overwhelming due to the sheer number of options available. They turned to Tally Workspace who were able to use their in-depth knowledge of the London market to recommend the best spaces for them.

The Search

Finding a space in a good location was extremely important in the search. Being in a central location was desirable along with being close to good transport links for their clients and staff to ensure smooth travel to and from the showroom. Holborn ended up being a great location due to the tube links and being an easy walking distance from both West End/Covent Garden and Hatton Garden.

Josh from Tally Workspace was able to provide a shortlist of spaces in the area that also fit the premium look and feel that Lily Arkwright were looking for, and then organised a day of viewings.

The team saw 8 properties in total but it was an office space at LABS Holborn that really stood out.

The space had a large manned reception area, perfect for greeting clients, and a contemporary look and design throughout the rest of the building. The team felt it really aligned well with their brand and would be an impressive space to welcome their clients.  It also allowed for the all-important 24/7 access, which was essential to accommodate clients coming for appointments at the weekend. They were confident that they had found the perfect space and moved forward with it the very next day. The team are now super excited to be moving in at the start of May.
